Since you're writting about females - I wondered if you have heard of Simone de Beauvoir, I read this short description of her in this philosophy book, it said that she's the first femmenist from france (i thougth it was ironic how those 3 words all start w/ the letter F). Anyway, I thought it was great that she was such a sensible person.
